Become a part of a great team
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company founded in 1946 with employees in more than 20 countries and headquarters in Stilling south of Aarhus. We believe no one should have to question their access to clean water or the prospect of a sustainable energy future. Our smart metering solutions empower utilities and societies to reduce water loss and increase energy efficiency by providing them with the insight to act and the data to target their efforts.

We are a team of 10 employees with a broad spectrum of competences. We are developers and have our own tester, scrum master, architect, and product owner. Our primary task is to manage our meters from initial registration to end of life including firmware upgrade and configuration. You will work in a team where we value each other and try to empower the developers to have control of how we work efficiently. It is important for us that there is a supportive atmosphere where we work together to solve the challenges we face.

An internship with a focus on user interface

We expect you to be familiarly with the following technologies and procedures:

  • React
  • Git – rebase, merge, deploy, monitoring.
  • Agile development – with weekly follow-ups, planning, and code reviews.
  • A fundamental understanding of the principles when developing modern front ends.

The specific contents of your tasks will be planned according to your wishes and your competences.

Personality matters
We are looking for an independent and solution-oriented student who takes pride in quality. As a person, you are flexible and able to devise creative solutions. You are not afraid of asking questions, and you gladly contribute with your professional competences. It is natural for you to do your best and constantly challenge your own standards, and you approach all tasks with diligence and a quality-aware mindset. You are a team-player, which means that you have no problem working closely together with colleagues and customers. Furthermore, you are able to navigate new and challenging issues. The most important thing is that you are driven by the desire to develop software.

We are an international organization, and it is therefore a requirement that you are fluent in written and spoken English.

We offer more than just an internship
As an intern at Kamstrup, you will be on equal footing with the rest of the team. You will be responsible for your own project, through which you will have rich opportunity to leave your own mark. We have a good working environment where freedom and responsibility go hand in hand, and where we focus on continually developing our competences through courses and sparring.
