The department and role

In the Assembly & Automation team, you will as an Intern have the responsibility for planning, preparing, and conducting process capabilities studies on a future Machine for our ABL90 SC Production. The task will require insight into statistics, and it is important that you are able to deep-dive into technical and complex processes. The main task will be to identify and narrow down relevant process parameters for various processes on a new machine, this includes, positioning of parts, gluing and more. Coordination, planning and development of test-plans is a part of the job, and finally conducting and running DOE on-site to study the process window.

You will be supported by the project team, but it’s important that you are self-driven and can work closely with various stakeholders.

You will be a part of the Projects, NPI & Manufacturing Technology organization and report to the Senior Manager of Assembly and Automation. The team has the responsibility for capacity expansion and commissioning of state-of-the-art equipment and machinery for our productions.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates that are interested in production and/or automation, who are studying Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant field. In addition, experience with DOE (Design of Experiment), statistical analysis, and optimizing of processes is a plus. We are looking for individuals who are structured, well-organized, and possess a drive and team player approach. The ability to take a structured and practical approach to complex challenges is essential, as the task involves a large amount of processes and hands-on work.

Fluent skills in English reading, writing, and verbal communication are required.
