Are you studying for your master’s degree and do you want practical experience with bringing new insulin products from late stage development into large scale production at Novo Nordisk? About the department
NPI, as part of ´Diabetes Finished Products Manufacturing Development´, consists of 48 employees divided between 3 teams situated in Bagsværd. The main responsibility of NPI is the transition of development products into large scale production. This includes production design, material and process sciences, product stability and coordination of production for late-phase clinical trials.

The position
As intern in NPI,your primary focus will be to support the daily work in the department. Doing this you will be responsible for creating and maintaining supporting tools and systems as well as selected documentation work, such as preparing presentations, writing protocols, data handling, reporting studies and writing documents for use internally in Novo Nordisk. In addition, you will be expected to take part in theoretical discussion and study design (to the extent possible).

  • Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for 5-6 months.
  • Start date: September 2020

Qualifications
We are looking for a person who is comfortable speaking their mind, enjoys a challenging problem and has a strong personal drive. You have a professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative and finally, you must have a willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.

You are currently studying your master’s degree within natural sciences (e.g. engineering, Chemistry, biochemistry) or other relevant scientific discipline. We expect candidates to thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English; ability to manage many project tasks in parallel (with supervision); sound personal judgment; and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
