About the department
The position is anchored in the department CMC Business & Digital Solutions, whose key mission is to execute strategic initiatives across CMC Development in the areas of Business Intelligence, IT Automation, and Data Analytics in partnership with other departments. We transform data into business insight and make recommendations in order to optimize our deliveries of medicine for clinical trials to thousands of patients across the world. You will join an international team consisting of 16 colleagues with different backgrounds. You will work closely together with our Business Analysts and Data Engineers, who have a strong business data understanding, working on making data available and structuring it, as well as creating data models & predictions.

The Position
You will support our journey in advanced analytics by employing your coding, data & modelling skills to our specific use cases. You will analyze and cleanse large datasets, and make interaction of data through coding, with the goal to bring business impact by converting data into business insights, machine learning models, predictions and visualizations. You will be involved in end-to-end projects, from idea, development and deployment of models across CMC.

Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months.
Start date: February 2021
Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
Full Time Danish work permit is required

Qualifications

You are currently studying a Diploma, a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or similar with excellent results and a natural flair for data. You have a data mindset and find it naturally to test new techniques, software and ways of working. Furthermore, you should have:

Proven passion for generating insights from data.
Experience with languages such as Python, SQL or C#
Comfort manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau is an advantage but not a requirement.

As we are a global company and an international team, fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
