More than just a job - you’ll be helping to make a difference
The starting gun has been fired and we’re in the process of creating a BI team that designs, develops, implements, and optimises BI solutions for our software products. The huge demand for BI and data-driven solutions from our customers will give you a broad network of contacts both in terms of products and projects as well as various groups of professionals, customers, and partners.

The internship involves a very much hands-on approach to tasks in relation to designing, building, and implementing BI solutions. Tasks vary from basic BI architecture solutions to complex BI solutions tailored to customers’ needs and requirements. We will also focus on building up knowledge and methods, and in particular an effective team, where you can be happy and will develop as a BI intern. This means you’ll be able to make your mark on the BI team and the way we work.

Curious, quick to learn and with considerable drive
As a BI intern, you will be part of a skilled team and will be involved in all phases of the BI project. You will take on part of the work of turning the needs and wishes of users and customers into concrete solutions, and you will help build the solution as well as ensure a good dialogue with colleagues, customers and partners.

You will therefore have good communication skills combined with good business acumen and enjoy contributing to a wide variety of assignments. You are curious, responsible and committed. We expect that you will have a passionate interest in BI and considerable drive to make a difference. You may have practical or theoretical experience of assignments and solutions related to BI. This may be data warehousing, data-driven analyses or BI tools.

As a BI intern you will get the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and expertise. It would be a huge advantage if you had expertise or experience in some of the following areas:

• Data Warehousing and cubes
• Data modelling and analysis
• Data visualisation in Targit or Microsoft Power BI

The internship will be of 5-6 months’ duration, starting from August/September 2018. Provisionally, the internship will be full-time, but naturally we are flexible in relation to your studies and requirements for ECTS points. This is a paid internship, if your studies allow.

Want to be part of the BI team?
You will be studying for a Danish Cand.Merc (or equivalent) in Business Intelligence or be on a course in IT, computer science, mathematics, or as an IT engineer. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team. It’s vital that you have a solid understanding of the interplay between people, technologies, and processes, and that you’re organised, analytical, and motivated. You can act proactively and with great commitment. Additionally, you must be able to read and understand Danish.
