Internship: Application Developer with Front-end skills in R&ED
Are you our new Intern that will help us expand our application platform? Are you motivated by instrument data capture, scientific data transformation and data-flow automation to boost traditional scientific research laboratories at Novo Nordisk?
Then join us in a newly established position as Application Developer intern in Drug Product Development.
The position
Your main responsibility will be to build value-driving and innovative software solutions from the ground up and explore new technologies and tools to apply during the development of these solutions. As a technology choice, we are primarily focused on building full end-to-end digital solution leveraging on cloud capabilities and automated CI/CD pipelines. As Application Developer Intern you will write new code and support our group of developers in testing and tackling potential bugs or issue in our code, and ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance and testability
Qualifications
You are currently studying within the field of computer science or software engineering, preferably your Master. You have an analytical and logical mindset and a talent for communicating your points and visions. Expected technical skills:
- Programming skills in Python and C#
- Experience in developing and operating software products using Java and FE Javascript frameworks like REACT
- Experience establishing and working with databases and knowledge of SQL and non-relational databases
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging applications
About the department
DPDev is part of Novo Nordisk’s Research & Early Development (R&ED) family and acts as a link between the research unit and the production, spanning from early development to phase 3 clinical trials and registration. Our ambition is to improve our patients lives by developing the world finest drug substance and injectable drug products.
The position is anchored in the team Data science, Automation & Software, driving future drug product and analysis development. We aim to create a paradigm altering approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalizing the processes. The team consists of highly skilled subject matter experts with different scientific backgrounds, ranging from formulation specialists and data scientists to analytical experts and automation engineers. And they need you, an entrepreneurial minded data architect to establish the framework for our success.
