We are seeking an engaged student for 5-6 months, full time internship in the CMC API Development area. Our area is responsible for developing technologies and processes for the commercial manufacturing of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in our new medicines. Currently, CMC API Development employs 190 people, all located in Denmark.

About the department

You will be part of the API Project Office team (part of CMC API Development) with a highly engaged, experienced and ambitious team of 18 employees incl. 13 Project Managers. The department’s primary objective is to lead API project activities through high performance project teams and engagement of our stakeholders to deliver high quality processes and API. The department also has the responsibility to support the other departments in CMC API Development with e.g. cLEAN, training, quality management and availability of relevant data.

The position
As an intern in API Project Office, you will participate in various projects and tasks which require strong logical thinking and you will work independently supporting the business and projects going on in CMC API Development and API Project Office. Your tasks will vary widely and include making presentations, data processing, driving optimisation projects, training support, assisting the planning and facilitation of workshops and meetings, assisting the development and implementation of organizational strategies and structures and supporting the group of Project Managers. The internship will provide you with a steep learning curve with exposure to best practice project management skills. You can expect to be challenged to deliver strong and profound results in an efficient and value adding way.

  • Internship period: 5-6 months
  • Working hours: Full-time
  • Start date: mid-August 2020
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required

Qualifications
You are a bachelor or master’s degree student preferably in one of these fields: Business, Natural Science, Engineering, Data Science or Economics with excellent academic credentials. You are fluent in English, and are used to both working independently and in teams. Finally, you have excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for generating insights from data and bring a positive attitude. Knowledge of VBA, Alteryx and Tableau is a plus. Please note that you must to be enrolled at university either at a bachelor or master’s level during the whole duration of the internship.
