About the department
In Bagsvaerd, Denmark, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-performing and ever-changing department. We manage initiatives that develop solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across Novo Nordisk's finished goods production in Compliance Portfolio Management.
As a Compliance Portfolio Management intern, you will be part of a global team of around 20 Senior Project Managers. The department has a worldwide perspective and works on initiatives involving technology and processes related to Novo Nordisk A/S products, such as filling, assembly, packaging, and quality. We put a strong emphasis on tying regulatory compliance to business objectives, and we work hard to enhance our procedures on a regular basis.
Our team is open and informal while maintaining professionalism and accountability. We place a strong emphasis on constantly refining our processes in order to improve how we work. This is a unique opportunity for you, because you will have plenty of chances to put your own ideas into action.
You'll assist Senior Project Managers in their everyday activities, which will include working on numerous projects throughout our US, China, Brazil, France, and Denmark locations. Working with team members on ad hoc project management responsibilities and assisting with department development in general, you will play a vital role in this function.
Expect a varied range of work days with a variety of people, and you will be treated as a valuable member of the department. Continual feedback and assistance with your professional and personal development.
You will also be given assignments to work on that you will be personally responsible for. We'll try to discover a project where you can participate based on your educational background, previous work experience, and personal interests.
After the internship, you will be able to look back and confidently state that you have made a significant contribution to the department through your personal touch.
- Internship period: 6 months – with possibility for extension up to a year (enrolment at University within full period is required)
- Working hours: 37 hours per week (with flexibility during exam periods)
- Start date: 1 August
- Internships are remunerated if your university allows it
- A Danish full-time work permit is required
We're seeking for a Project and Portfolio Management intern who is passionate about improving and putting theory into practice. You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Excellent analytical abilities and knowledge about project and portfolio management
- Excel, PowerPoint, and other IT programs are second nature to you. You consider yourself to be a computer whiz in general. It's a plus if you're familiar with Tableau, Alteryx, or Microsoft Power Apps.
- Service-oriented, working in a systematic manner with high quality standards, and having a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage several responsibilities at once, as well as a strong drive to accept personal responsibility and deliver results
- Thrive in an international workplace and be able to comfortably interact with employees from different organizations and countries
Ambition to have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative and improve. Bringing a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humor to your work – even when the pressure is on.
Finally, excellent work ethics and a drive to learn and grow are required. Strong English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
