JOIN OUR BRIDGES AND CIVIL STRUCTURES TEAM IN KONGENS LYNGBY
As a Student Assistant you will become part of COWI's Bridge and Civil Structures team. We are 100 colleagues working with bridge and civil structures covering the entire lifecycle of a bridge, from planning and design to operation and refurbishment or decommissioning, and we are privileged to include some of the world’s highest and longest bridges amongst our accomplishments.
We have more than 13,000 ongoing projects, ranging from small local projects to large scale international projects. You will take part in turning challenges into sustainable solutions while kickstarting your career in a friendly and team-oriented work environment. We recognize the fact that all of us have been studying at some point. Hence, we highly value our students and view them as aspiring future experts.
The present position is primarily within operation and maintenance for 5-6 months.
AN EXCITING STUDENT POSITION WITHIN CONCRETE ANALYSIS AND LAB TESTING
As an intern, you will join our team of specialists and work closely with Morten Holm Seneka Jespersen. Your tasks will be defined by the match between your competencies and COWI business needs, enabling you to make a personal impact on the projects you are involved.
At present we are working on the Fehmarnbelt tunnel and with Energinet to provide concrete technology services for maintaining their concrete foundations and we need your drive and talent to work on the following challenges:
- Concrete testing in our lab facilities
- Concrete analysis
- Inspection and testing of bridges and civil structures
- Principal inspection of bridges
- Sustainability within the Transportation sector

Furthermore, we imagine that you meet the following qualifications:
- Study Civil Engineering, and are close to finalise your bachelor
- Have Interest within concrete analysis and lab testing
- Should be proficient in Danish (Written and Verbal)
