Imagine a future where you’re a key player in securing sustainable Power Generation throughout the lifetime of our wind turbines globally

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of our Electrical team of specialists focusing on corrective actions, improvements, and maintenance optimisation on the entire Power Train in our wind turbines, from generator terminals to switch gear. While our Engineering function will support deep specialist knowledge, you’ll still be the commercially minded specialist, who balances risk, cost, and time. Your primary stakeholders will be site operations, fleet support, fleet diagnostics, warranty, jack-up, and heavy lift.

Welcome to WTG department - Global Operation, Asset Integrity Management
You’ll be part of our Electrical team, where you, together with your colleagues, will define best practice for the inspection and maintenance of Electrical parts and main components on our Power Train. Best practice derives from a mix of operational experience, lessons learned from failures and damages, and operational innovation initiatives. You’ll be closely involved in these activities to ensure that our focus on wind turbine integrity is always up to date and based on the latest knowledge and innovation initiatives. As a team, we work closely together and support each other with our experience and knowledge. We have frequent check-ins across the team, formally and informally, and we support each other across geographies.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving problem-solving processes in case of failures on Electrical equipment in the entire Power Train system, and understanding the failure mode behind it
  • participating in the development of improvement and retrofit solutions for the increased performance and availability of our wind turbines
  • driving the optimisation of maintenance strategies and planning related to equipment in the Power Train system.
  • optimising and maintaining our sourcing strategies and spare parts availability, in collaboration with our supply chain organisation.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a good understanding of Power Train Systems in wind turbines, coming from either Design, Commissioning, or Service functions related to wind turbine technology
  • place stakeholders at the centre of your work and are good at keeping them informed and engaged
  • are collaborative and work as a team player.
