Fluidan is seeking a talented and ambitious Instrument Technologist, to build, optimize, and support RheoStream® instruments. This role is instrumental in driving the company's growth.
As our Instrument Technologist, you will be a central member of the Fluidan team. In collaboration with our Instrument Developer, the Instrument Technologist ensures that instruments are built and in perfect condition for all customer projects and supports improvements and optimizations of the instruments based on customer needs. Technical customer support will be of high priority.
Reporting to the CTO, the Instrument Technologist holds a central role in transitioning RheoStream into a scalable product.

Responsibilities
You will
- Assemble RheoStream instruments.
- Selection and procurement of components and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Help setting up a dedicated instrument production facility based on a single-piece-flow system.
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Assist in hardware integration during customer trials and other sales-support activities.
- Maintain product documentation in CAD and BOM
- Contribute to the development of quality management systems, including release tests.
- Help in securing CE and ATEX compliance of future RheoStream versions
- Modify RheoStream instruments based on ongoing customer feedback.
Qualifications
You education is probably a Bachelor of Production Technology, a Mechanical Engineer, or you have acquired similar competences. You have some years of practical experience, either from jobs in the industry or from own commercial projects.
The preferred candidate is:
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Danish and German would be a bonus.
- Experienced with instrument making (fine mechanics): Mechanical craftmanship, hands-on, practical and result oriented.
- Willing to travel 20 - 40 days/year (mostly in trips of a few days each) and holding a driver’s license.
- Skilled in Inventor or similar CAD system for design and documentation.
- Systematic and structured in planning, work and documentation.
- Good at networking and building relationship with customers and suppliers.
- A grounded personality with good communication and presentation skills.
- A good colleague – contributing proactively and positively to the team.
- Capable of working independently as well together with multiple stakeholders
- Has eye for deviations in test results and trouble shooting
It will be an added benefit if you also have competences in electronics, CE and ATEX certification, quality systems, factory control systems, fluid dynamics.
