As part of the Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering team, you will support product development teams in developing and introducing medical devices within our visualization product range. 

Working from our Headquarters in Ballerup, you will join a team with colleagues in Denmark, USA and Asia, and you will refer to the Director of Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering. 

A global job with impact 
In the job as Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. You will experience a varied working day in a dynamic organisation where you will work closely with your colleagues, particularly colleagues in Denmark and Asia, but also in the US. 

Your main responsibilities will be to: 

  • ensure professional and proactive QAE support to the development projects 
  • handle risk management as part of support to innovation projects 
  • perform supplier audit as part of selection new suppliers/partners to innovation projects and continuous monitoring of strategic suppliers 
  • continuous development of products through quality tools as Corrective and Preventive Actions  

You can expect some travel activity (10-20 days per year) in connection with global QAE meetings/training, development projects, conferences, etc. 

Experience with Medical Device and teamwork 
To succeed in the job, you need to have a background as an engineer with experience within design control of medical devices either in a QA department or R&D and you have experience with risk management for Medical Devices. Additionally, you need to have some years of experience from a QA department with CAPA’s, complaints and NCRs. Your professional background is biomedical, mechanical, electrical or software engineer. 

It is important that you have a structured approach to your work, but at the same time, you are open-minded and see possibilities. You have a clear ability to maintain overview in at times hectic environments and you are a team player with the ability to work independently. 

It is natural for you to take charge and you are proactive, good at prioritising, planning and finalising your tasks.
