Ambu is looking for a highly motivated  Innovation Analyst to collaborate with the Executive Management Director on strategic initiatives across our Global Innovation (R&D) department and in the management team. The job requires strong communicative and analytical skills combined with a structured approach, a solid business understanding and a flair for technology.

You will get to work with multiple departments and affiliations worldwide strengthening your stakeholder management skills and challenging your technical insight. 

Supporting Global Innovation’s strategic initiatives
In this very exciting job, you will for sure be able to set your mark on Ambu’s future product development and technology focus. You will be analyzing and gathering data on the market trends within technology intelligence and facilitate the development of our long-term strategy. At the same time, you will be supporting our management team in global innovation with different areas such as internal communication to employees, senior management and board of directors.

Your main area of responsibility will be to:

  • Support Global Innovation strategic initiatives (e.g. develop R&D strategy, build extended technology development landscapes, develop risk assessment framework)
  • Gather data and interview key internal and external stakeholders for input and alignment
  • Develop and propose approach
  • Develop Global Innovation material for senior management and board of directors
  • Generate internal Global Innovation communication material, e.g. as part of a monthly newsletter
  • Support with ad-hoc communication requests
  • Conduct Ad-hoc support to management.
  • Prepare content for Global Innovation conference, mgmt. team offsites, etc. Facilitate workshops

Strong communication and analytical skills 
To succeed in the job, you need have a technical master’s degree (e.g. Engineering) and a few years of experience in a Tier 1 management consulting firm.

We are looking for a person who knows how to work independently, proactively and has strong stakeholder management skills that will enable you to build relationships across Global Innovation. You are also analytical, cooperative and systematic, and you are able to have a clear overview in demanding situations. In addition, you turn challenges into opportunities, and you have a natural personal impact.

Furthermore, you must hold excellent communication skills including speaking and writing English on a high level.
