Are you a dedicated Injection Moulding Engineer with experience from working in a global context? Do you have what it takes to bring components and parts from 3D-model to final component in a busy and focused project organization? Then you might be the person we are looking for to support our exciting project portfolio.

You will be a member of the Global Innovation team located at our headquarters in Ballerup. We focus on developing new products and processes that combine several technologies in a new and innovative way.

Your role - ensuring components designed for manufacturing
Based on your extensive knowledge within injection moulding you will be a key person in bringing moulded components from 3D-model to final components within our development projects. You will be working closely with our Front End Innovation team in the early development phases where your focus will be on manufacturability and design for assembly. In the implementation phase you will be working closely with our internal and/or external moulding suppliers, our global R&D and Operations team.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Participate in our development projects with responsibility for moulded parts.
• Ensure solid component and product design from a manufacturing point of view.
• Cooperate closely with our moulding partners primarily situated in Asia.
• Ensure timely delivery of components and documentation within the projects.

Your background
We expect you to hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within injection moulding engineering or an equivalent background. Ideally, you have more than 5 years of experience from a similar position within a medical device company and you understand and acknowledge that solid documentation is an integrated part of your work.

Furthermore, we expect you to have broad experience in plastic technology, optimization of components, tooling, cooperation with prototyping partners and moulding suppliers, and optimization and validation of injection moulding processes.

As a person you have a strong drive and you are able to work independently and take ownership of your tasks. You are a team-player and you enjoy the close cooperation in the project team and with our suppliers and other internal and external partners. As we run several parallel projects, where you will have an important role, you thrive in a busy workday with many ongoing activities.

You will work in a global setting with many internal and external stakeholders, therefore it is a requirement that you are fluent in English. In particular, it is important that you communicate on a high level in written English and that you are willing to travel approximately 20-30 days per year.
