Information Security Specialist

Do you want to be part of an agile and international team that is driving cyber and information security in MAN Energy Solutions? We are currently strengthening the team to enable the digital transformation of the company. We are looking for a colleague that will help us shape the security roadmap.

What am I going to do?
When you become our new colleague, you will play a key role in securing MAN Energy Solutions from cyber threats. We are a global company working with clients and other stakeholders from all over the world, thus securing ourselves is of utmost importance.

As an Information Security Specialist with us, you will among other things be developing and implementing concepts and guidelines for information security, including awareness activities. On top of this you will be supporting information classification in business areas and contribute to the definition of secure solutions to business demands. This means also helping colleagues improve IT security in their area, while also handling information security incidents when they occur.

To constantly have state-of-the-art IT security, you will also continuously be working to improve current processes and tools for IT security as well as perform information security assessments and IT security audits.

Who am I?
As you will be working in a role, where cross-organizational collaboration is key to the success of the job, you enjoy taking the initiative and drive security topics. This means interacting with a lot of different stakeholders in our organization, and you communicate at ease with non-experts in the field and with people regardless of their place in the organizational hierarchy.

You will be part of a truly international organization and you will have colleagues spread across several countries. Previous experience in working internationally will therefore be a great advantage, so you are aware of how to interact with people across cultures. Once current traveling restrictions are lifted, you will also have the ability to travel to our different sites – mainly in Germany and Denmark – to help stakeholders with their IT security needs.

On a more professional note, we imagine that our colleague:

• Have successfully completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualification
• Have practical experience in IT security
• Speak and writes English fluently

The cyber and information security team is located in Augsburg, Copenhagen and Aurangabad; culture revolves around agile mindset with particular focus on transparency, collaboration and continuous learning.
