Welcome to Transformers & HV Components Engineering
You’ll be part of a team where you, together with your colleagues, will be conducting engineering tasks related to the sourcing, manufacturing, and installation of HV equipment. We’re involved in the entire lifecycle of our offshore wind power projects, from the early stages of project development until handover of the energised wind farm. You’ll join a team of ambitious and highly skilled engineers who are delivering HV equipment to an increasing number of markets across the globe.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing technical requirements and participating in technical clarifications for sourcing of HV equipment, including transformers, reactors, switchgear, FACTS devices, and HVDC equipment
  • aligning and optimising electrical and mechanical interfaces with key stakeholders, such as the structural engineering department
  • ensuring the quality of HV equipment through compliance with our quality processes
  • driving new innovative solutions for optimisation of the grid connection of future offshore wind farms.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s or, preferably, a master’s degree in electrical engineering
  • have knowledge and experience within HV equipment such as transformers and switchgear and maybe within converter-based equipment such as HVDC, FACTS devices, and BESS
  • understand electrical system design requirements and solutions in HV transmission systems
  • take ownership, stay on the course, and work through resistance to get things done
  • are a strong collaborator that are good at establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
