We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Head of IT Project Management. At Ambu, you can make your mark. You will set the direction for IT Project Management and execute on Ambu’s strategy together with the business. 
You will join a Global IT department with ambitious objectives and be responsible for a team of dedicated IT Project Managers. You will report to the Vice President, Corporate IT and work out of Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup.

Can you see yourself taking the responsibility for IT Project Management? 
All major projects are endorsed by the executive IT governance committee. The position as Head of IT Project Management will provide you a strong visibility in the organisation as well the opportunity to influence the continuous improvement of Ambu’s governance- and project model

Your main tasks will be:

  • Lead our IT Governance process and ensure that the portfolio of projects is executed
  • Manage a global team of 6 qualified Project Managers
  • Define and Maintain the project processes from idea to benefit realisation within Global IT.
  • Maintain IT guidelines, project models, documentation standards.

Experience and passion for portfolio and project management
It is key that you can work in a complex business and technical environment. We assume that you have an extensive experience driving business-oriented IT projects and activities. You will most likely have a project management certification and experience with managing project portfolios. You should be comfortable working in a regulated industry. 

As a person, you are a “do’er” and you work diligently to complete your duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. At the same time, you are a natural team-player on all organisational levels and are used to work with cross-functional teams. It is important that you have excellent analytical skills and that you are able to simplify complex challenges.
