For our Tool & Equipment organization, we are looking for a Head of Equipment Operations that will take ownership of the entire operational part of the equipment value chain.

How to contribute to our vision
The Offshore Tools and Equipment organization has the responsibility to manage and deliver equipment to support installation projects globally. The organization owns the full value chain; hence we are present in all equipment decisions from scoping, design to execution of installation projects. A special effort is put on safety and securing high uptime of the equipment throughout its lifetime. This is done through an integrated feedback loop, linking the use of equipment to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement programs and further back to the integrated design process for next generations of equipment to come.

  • Manage a competent and dedicated team of department heads that covers the entire operational scope
  • Ensures business success and satisfaction of the end customer together with professional stakeholder management
  • Ensuring maximum equipment uptime during use, by applying the right service and maintenance strategies and further securing global technical support
  • Securing efficient and precise delivery out of equipment warehouses to sites
  • Facilitate operational learnings and conduct / join lessons learned from use of equipment at installation sites 
  • Work closely with the operational construction teams on equipment implementation to secure the best new introduction to our installation projects – including project specific adaptions to standard equipment
  • Optimize the use of the existing equipment portfolio and rectify deficits on functionality, documentation and safety, fast and efficient

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

You have extensive experience in leading an operational technical team with disciplinary / management responsibilities. Preferably experience in management of teams in a global setup. You combine strong leadership skills with openness to input from colleagues, work to get the best out of your team and thrive with solving complex challenges. You hold an Engineering degree on Bachelor or master’s level or similar relevant technical education. A minimum of 5 years’ experience within technical operational management and / or similar process from an Engineering context. Preferably from the wind industry or similar larger scale industry manufacturer. You have strong communicative skills with clear and precise wording and possess strong stakeholder management. Further the ability to work across all organizational boundaries and levels. For you, safety comes first when performing your tasks. You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
