As Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will play a key role in the success of Ambu by developing the Enterprise Architecture roadmap(s) and IT architecture strategy and vision. You will work in alignment with IT strategy and architectural principles, and you must act as a role model in Ambu advocating the Enterprise Architecture principles and the mindset that follows.
In this role, you will shape the frameworks and processes to successfully deliver on the agenda and you will help ensure collaboration with all relevant people.
You will join an international team and report to the Senior Director Digital Strategy, Architecture and Master Data, Mika Välilä. The position is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark.
As Head of Enterprise Architecture your responsibilities will include:
- Setting the strategic direction for the Ambu Enterprise Architecture in the context of Information Systems and Technology. Participates in defining the strategy and assesses how it should be implemented
- Maintain close relationship with all key business and IT stakeholders
- Responsible for aligning the Information Systems & Technology roadmap with the Global IT organization
- Driving the IT architecture governance
- Engage as project architect in projects and other change activities to deliver success as well as improve templates, standards and reference architectures and ensure adherence.
- Overall management of the department according to budgets and corporate guidelines
Key competences
To succeed in this position, you come with experience within EA framework as well as working with IT and business executives. You are an excellent communicator, and you understand how to balance your technical know-how with your stakeholder management skills. You approach initiatives with a consultancy mindset and clearly communicate the business value of architecture strategy and roadmaps.
You probably hold a master’s degree in engineering or another relevant field. You have knowledge of business models, operating models, development models, project management, cost/benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management, and you contribute proactively to the development of your own professional discipline.
As a person, you desire to shape the area of Enterprise Architecture at Ambu, as well as establish and drive the Enterprise Architecture team to success.
