Hardware engineer
Develco Products are looking for a hardware engineer for leveraging our product development. Experience in RF will be a benefit as most products include wireless communication.
You will be part of a very skilled hardware team, bringing years of experience in full product development.
Products range from microprocessor based IoT gateways with multiple wireless networks, over Smart plugs/meters/actuators and audio devices to battery powered sensors of any kind.
You will be fully responsible for bringing the product from high level product specification to fully certified products – coordinating with Product management, mechanical designer, mechanical engineering, PTA (in DK and Thailand), certification partner, supply chain, marketing and other relevant parties.
Primary work task:
- Writing technical specifications (Prom top lever product spec) in close corporation with Software.
- Developing product, including Schematics incorporation with mechanical design/engineering). Complex PCB design in outsourced guided by you.
- Testing, validating and certification of products (Typically for EU, US and Canada).
- Documentation of design plus technical info for marketing.
- Sparring, assisting, and reviewing work of the rest of the hardware team.
Qualifications:
- Electronics engineer with experience with product development
- RF experience (designing and optimizing Bluetooth, WiFi, Zigbee or similar)
- Certification experience – CE, RED, Safety, UL (several products)
- Advantage of experience with Zigbee, Bluetooth/BLE, Wireless M-Bus, Z-Wave, LTE, NB-IoT a.o.
Personal qualifications:
- Team player, used to and enjoying corporation with multiple partners
- Good at learning and sharing knowledge
- Fluently in English, especially in Writing as all documentation is in English
- Engaged, hard working and inspired by working with state-of-the-art products and technologies.
