ZenzeTech is a start-up that monitors Parkinson’s patients’ gait symptoms (such as step length, speed, asymmetry and balance) with intelligent insoles equipped with IMUs and pressure sensors. The gait data is descriptive of the patients’ courses of disease and can be used to enhance clinicians’ ability to personalize and optimize the patients’ treatment. We are looking for one talented intern within hardware developement to join our team of six and get hands-on experience in developing algorithms to translate sensor data into a powerful tool for clinicians. Working in a small and young company has the benefit that you will get more experience and responsibility in shaping a real-world solution.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Developing advanced algorithms for extracting and transforming raw signals into qualitative and quantitative insight for the clinicians
  • Sensors calibration and signal processing for the 3.0 version of our intelligent insole
  • Test of the device’s functionalities and basic soldering of accessories
  • Defining the technical design of the future solutions (Prototyping)

How we imagine you: 

  • Excellent in math and physics. Knowledge of inertial sensors and control theory is a big advantage
  • Engineering student from DTU, ITU, KU or other technical universities
  • Passionate or curious about health tech start-ups
  • Passionate about crafting and technical projects
  • Highly skilled in MATLAB and/or Python coding

ZenzeTech is located in a technical startup community in Futurebox at DTU with 40 other startups to learn from, monthly Friday bars and free coffee and lunch. The internship will begin 1st of February 2022 and end June/July 2022. Working hours are 16-37 hours a week.
