Group Manager - Automation & Technical Commissioning

Would you like a group manager position, where you spend your time leading a team of 23 automation and electrical engineers? As our new group manager, you join S-APC Cross-Application Execution who provides automation and engineering resources to projects of the six Application Centres (APCs): Dairy, Food, Beverage, Chemical, Pharma and Utilities. Cross-Application Execution drives resource effectiveness and standardization.  

Job profile
As Group Manager of Cross-Application Execution EMEA North – Automation & Technical Commissioning in Soeborg you coordinate, supervise and support your team to design, implement and commission automation solutions for GEA projects around the world. Assuring the correct quality, time and cost under the procedures and goals established by the Head of the Automation & Technical Commissioning.

Your key priorities will be:

• Lead your team and coordinate their efforts
• Coach and develop your team
• Manage the resource allocation to projects
• Manage the support to the APCs and Sales departments
• Manage the support of the automation service and after sales
• Manage QA procedures and policies
• Lead internal improvement processes of the department
• Manage external resources

You will report to the respective L4 manager.

Personal profile
Strong technical expert with leadership experience - to succeed in this position, it is essential that you are a strong networker, as you will collaborate with several stakeholders at all levels of our organization.

You have:

• At least 5 years of leadership experience
• Experience with engineering automation solutions for the process industry
• PLC and SCADA programming skills
• Project management skills
• Full fluency in English - written and oral communication skills
