We’re looking for a passionate Business Manager for Freshwater Generators within Marine and Land based engine power applications. You will be part of our Business Unit Marine Separation and Heat Transfer.

As our new Global Sales, you will have the overall responsibility for our Freshwater generator business for cruise ships, engine power applications across some countries/ regions.

We have an ambitious product developmental plan and your task is to build on the existing market and proactively drive the business in coordination with shipyards, shipowners, ship designers.

End-to-end responsibility for the business area

As Global Sales, you are responsible for driving and optimizing the business, including:

  • Leading the business across defined regions and responsible for sales, profitability and securing market share
  • Driving Sales Companies for new business opportunities across key market segments
  • Business planning where you define product strategies, activity plans, customer meetings.
  • Develop and improve our sales & marketing material and communicate the same across sales companies
  • Product launches and optimization in close dialogue with customers
  • Drive COGS down initiatives and bidding process in coordination with engineering and supply team

You will have a very broad interface across the company, and will collaborate with our sales companies as well as with our E&S and R&D.

Further, this is a great international opportunity as the business cover markets all over the world – and you will thus travel approximately 40-60 days a year.

The challenge
Your challenge will be to remain application leader within this area and continue to be the preferred supplier for customers.

Who you are and what you know
You probably have a university degree with a technical background and have 5+ years’ experience in mechanical industry, power generation and/or marine market. Sales experience with OEMs preferred. Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills as well as leadership experience are a benefit, however a deep motivation to lead other colleagues is essential. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.

You thrive in an outgoing role where you reach out to many parts of the organization as well as engage in technical discussions with customers. You have the ability to sell your ideas, and the drive and passion for the business and the products in order to succeed. You are target oriented and work proactively to get results and takes ownership for the business.
