Global Quality Manager

We are looking for a new Global Quality Manager who will play a key role in taking our high quality products to the next level in terms of reliability combined with an outstanding predictability of our processes.  

At FOSS we develop and produce world-leading analytical and measurement solutions for the international food and agriculture industries. Our instruments combine sophisticated flow systems and mechanical features with state of the art electronics, optics and software. Our solutions play a key role in securing both food quality and less food waste in the production processes.

The job                                
As our new Global Quality Manager you will be heading our efforts towards creating even more reliable high quality solutions. You will be working with the full chain of Quality from product development, NPI, suppliers, production and all the way to our end customer. Working in close collaboration with ambitious colleagues across the organisation will provide you with the opportunity of using your talents both at a strategic level – setting long term goals – as well as driving the challenging process of improving quality and processes.

You will be part of the combined Senior Management team of Global Quality and Production & Supply Chain and will report to the SVP for the area. Your main reports will be located in Denmark, but you will also have the responsibility for the Global Quality including having a report from our Quality function in Suzhou, China, and a close relation with our global service organisation.

Primary tasks
As Global Quality Manager your primary areas of responsibility will include:

• Working with continuous improvements to ensure outstanding product reliability and process predictability
• Developing our quality metrics as the basis for cross functional quality improvements
• Ensuring quality policies, systems and processes are adequate and followed
• Ensuring high quality in our new products and NPI-processes.

Qualifications
To be able to fulfill this role you probably have an engineering degree securing strong technical knowledge. We expect that you have sound experience in leading quality functions - preferably from a manufacturing company - having worked with high tech products involving mechanical and electronic parts as well as software. This experience has provided you with a solid understanding of product development, manufacturing and quality.

It is a prerequisite that you are comfortable speaking and writing English.
