Global Quality Manager

For our location in Hillerød, we are looking for a new Global Quality Manager - a talented, structured person who can secure our success with our quality on a strategic, tactical and detailed level.

The job
FOSS develops and produces state of the art analytical instruments for analysis of milk, meat, grain, wine and more. Our instruments combine sophisticated flow systems and mechanical features with state of the art electronics, optics and SW.

For the job as Global Quality Manager, your main reports will be sitting in Denmark, but you will have the responsibility for the Global Quality including having a report from our Quality function in Suzhou, China. You will part of the Senior Management team in Global Quality, Production & Supply Chain and will report to the SVP of the area.

You will be working with the full chain of Quality from Product Development, NPI, Suppliers, Production and Transportation to the quality in our service organization and at our End Customer. You will thus co-operate across the organization with the relevant stakeholders.

Primary tasks

• Ensure Quality policies, systems and processes are adequate and followed
• Develop and maintain a strong metric to measure our most important quality parameters
• Develop a quality metric for our Digital Business
• Ensure high quality in our new products and NPI
• Strengthen the inbound quality internally and with our suppliers
• Work with continuous improvements to make our products more reliable and production more predictable
• Work with Service and Product Engineering to improve existing products

Qualifications
We are looking for a person with a strong technical knowledge and experience in leading quality functions in a manufacturing company - preferably experienced having worked with high tech products involving mechanical and elektronik parts as well as software. Assumingly you have an engineering degree with a strong knowledge and understanding of Product Development, Manufacturing and Quality. It is a prerequisite that you are comfortable speaking and writing English.

You are a very structured person and a good communicator. You should be able communicate and co-operate with all organizational levels - often in a very cross-functional setting. You are very datadriven. You value strong processes to create sustainable quality improvements to support the overall results of the company.You are robust and persistent when ensuring the high quality of the FOSS products.
