The job
As our Global Logistic Manager, you will be leading the overall flow and logistic processes from supplier to end customer. With a direct reference to our Senior Vice President for Quality and Production & Supply Chain, and as part of the Q&PSC management team, you will head an organisation of app. 25 employees, including 5 direct reports. The functions you will lead are Global Order Support, Transportation and Shipping, Supply Chain Planning, Global Masterdata team and a small project organisation.

You will be responsible for providing our customers with an outstanding supply performance while ensuring internal optimisation of flows and processes. This includes timely and professional communication both internally in the supply chain, as well as towards our direct customers and indirect customers in our Sales and Service organisation.

Primary tasks
Your primary tasks as Global Logistic Manager will include:

  • Exercising inspirational leadership     
  • Continuing our development based on lean principles
  • Being an active player in an efficient and automated use of data
  • Optimizing internal and external logistic processes
  • Continuously improving our efficiency and reducing waste in the full supply chain
  • Supporting the establishment of a truly global masterdata function
  • Ensuring smooth and successful introduction of our many new products
  • Ensuring an optimized global logistic footprint

Qualifications
To succeed as Global Logistic Manager, we expect you to have an educational background within supply chain management. In addition, we expect that you have sound experience running a complex global logistic entity – optimising logistics from a customer perspective as well as an internal aspect of quality, cost, NWC, service level and time/speed.

It would be considered an advantage if you have experience in leading changes in an ERP-system as well as other supporting IT-systems.

It is a prerequisite that you speak and write both Danish and English.

Personal skills
You are a strong communicator, able to set the direction and inspire your employees to deliver on our initiatives supporting the FOSS Strategy. Having a large variety of stakeholders, you are able to lead and communicate with employees, colleagues and external partners.

You should be serviceminded, understand the needs of our internal and external customers and be able to transfer these into concrete deliveries.

You have a strong drive and capabilities to manage internal projects to improve the performance of our deliveries.
