In this challenging two-year graduate position, you will contribute directly to Ambu’s success and work with our strategy in different teams. You will work across functions in Global Innovation and Marketing, supporting initiatives to succeed with our strategy – “The Innovation Race”. You will be part of an effective innovation culture with a tradition for fast completion of projects. This means there will be a visible link between your results and Ambu’s growth. As a consequence, you will experience many different angles to our strategy during your two-year graduate programme.

You will be part of a dynamic innovation culture characterised by a strong team spirit. Our Global Innovation team consists of more than 300people located at our headquarters in Ballerup and Innovation centres in Germany and Malaysia. 

A graduate program with responsibilities. 
As a Global Innovation graduate at Ambu, you will have a unique opportunity to get a holistic view of the entire product development process – from understanding our markets and user needs to developing technology and products, all the way to product launch.

We cannot promise that you will be actively involved in all phases. However, you will have an opportunity to build a well-rounded experience linking product development with user needs, developing portfolio planning, innovation strategy and system architecture. We offer a challenging and fun two-year graduate programme where you will be an important player on the innovation team. You will participate in securing our ongoing dedication to bringing new quality products to the market. During the graduate programme, you will join four different teams:

• Global Innovation strategy, working closely with the Executive Management Director to drive our global Innovation strategy across all functions
• Portfolio Strategy in Global Marketing, undertaking market research to understand user needs and scale market potential through market size estimation and project valuation modelling
• Value stream planning, supporting the long term portfolio planning of a selected clinical segment, working both with Global Innovation and Marketing responsible
• System architecture, support the development of system architecture and roadmaps ensuring Ambu’s future products and features reflect user needs 

You will have a mix of assignments depending on the team/department and you will be involved in different cross-functional innovation strategy initiatives. You will begin as Ambu graduate in September 2021 and you will become a permanent employee from day one. At the end of the graduate programme, you may continue your career in Ambu, most likely in one of the areas that you worked with during your graduate programme. 

Strong team player with high technical skills
We are looking for an energetic graduate who wants to kick start his or her career and who is willing to go the extra mile for a promising career in the medtech industry. 

It is required that you are about to graduate, or that you have graduated no more than 2 years ago, with a relevant engineering Master's degree. Additionally, you also have to have excellent academic achievements from your studies. 

As a person, you are rounded, curious and hardworking with outstanding interpersonal skills. In Global Innovation we are dependant on good team spirit and working relationships, so being a team player who have a strong drive and passion is vital for the position. You are well-structured with strong analytical skills and you have the ability to go into details when it is appropriate and to take a more holistic view when it is required.

As you will be working with users across the world it is vital that you are fluent in written and oral English.
