Global Audiology Specialist (with Feature Management) in Marketing 

We are seeking a specialist to join the Audiology Communications team in Global Marketing at Widex.  
We are looking for experienced candidates within the field of hearing science and/or audiology. You must demonstrate strong commercial communication skills of audiology research and product benefit and claims. You must be adept within a global workplace and you should have experience as an audiology feature specialist. 
 
You will be joining a driven and motivated team of audiology and technology specialists who are part of the go to market team for new hearing solutions. Amongst other things this team is responsible for communicating core product knowledge to our customers. Through these communication activities we intend to educate, empower and inspire our customers and colleagues around our products and services all supporting the domain of audiology. Our colleagues are local and global specialists who all have in depth competencies within in the domain of audiology. 
 
Your Responsibilities  
Your area of work spans from audiology research to commercial audiology communication. The work we complete is essential to our sales and marketing efforts. In this way Audiology Communications supports Widex’ position as a leader in the hearing aid industry.  
 
The main tasks and areas of responsibility are:   

  • Audiology feature ownership in cross-functional project teams during execution to market 
  • Participation in the production of compelling and efficient go-to-market packages 
  • Mid/Long-term management and evolution of Hearing Aid technology feature messaging  
  • Authoring publications and developing presentations for face to face and online events   
  • Development and execution of global audiology training and sales support content

The position may require some international travel up to 20-40 days a year. You will interact with various key stakeholders, global colleagues, customers and key opinion leaders.   
 
You  
You have an audiology, audiological engineering or hearing science background. You are a motivating and driven specialist  and you thrive with the challenges tied to making complex ideas relevant to your audience. You have relevant marketing and/or product specialist experience 
 
Presenting and writing are comfortable tasks for you and you are experienced as a presenter to professional audiences in different settings. The fields of audiology, research and evidence-based work motivates you as well as contributing to the promotion of Widex hearing solutions.  
 
Our expectations of you:   

  • You have experience from a similar position within the hearing aid industry or as a practicing audiologist   
  • You are a creative thinker with good communication and presentation skills, you may also be a skilled writer   
  • You are familiar with hearing aid research and understand the science of experimental design   
  • You are inspiring to be around and you are motivated by cross functional and global collaboration    
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility is highly valued   
  • You have a Master degree in hearing sciences, audiological engineering or other related fields  
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, and you are familiar with Microsoft Office programs and online presentation tools
