Game Designer Intern
Astro.io is a startup rebuilding the investment platform to help the next generation make better-informed investments. The customer is at the center of everything we do. The Astro.io app will take the customer by the hand from the basics to the more technical information, all while investing any amount of money. We believe in learning-by-doing. The journey towards better-informed investments is mapped out for the customer.
Opportunity
Are you passionate about game design or interactive design? And are you curious about investing? In this role, you contribute to the gamified learning section of the Astro.io investment app together with the team. If you’re into game design but at the same time want to impact the future of investing with your skills, then this position will be perfect for you! You'll test your knowledge and skills in a fun, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and gain valuable experience.
Profile
You’re pursuing a degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent.

Conceptualize and develop rules, settings, and stories for the gamified learning section.

Knowledge about game mechanics and how they can drive behavior.

Program knowledge: Familiarity with design and prototyping software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent design tools.

The position is a 3-6 months internship. We’re flexible with start and end dates. Our office is at the Symbion co-working space in Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark, which means you’ll be working in a vibrant and highly creative atmosphere.
