Right now, we are looking for IT driven, process oriented and committed colleagues to join our Infrastructure Services team in Kolding. Here you will be part of VELUX Group IT – and be given the opportunity to work with cutting edge IT technologies, projects and tasks in a global environment that has IT innovation on the agenda.
Your challenges
You will be responsible for further development and governance of our global infrastructure platforms. On these tasks, you will work in close collaboration with our IT Security team, our IT Business Partners and our 3rd party support organisation.
Your primary tasks include:
- Managing and developing our platforms
- Coordination with subcontractors/vendors through existing governance structure
- Manage technical change
- Collaboration with IT Security and IT Business Partners
- Govern daily operations in collaboration with outsourcing partners
- Maintain and develop global standards for our infrastructure
- Develop and maintain roadmaps
- Develop and maintain procedures and documentations
In Infrastructure Services, we work with core infrastructure, digital workplace and applications. We have a close collaboration with other IT functions globally and locally and liaise closely with the business via IT Business Partners.
Your qualifications
You either have or wants to develop solid experience with an enterprise infrastructure setup and want to be part of the future digital journey for the VELUX Group.
You are feeling comfortable around some of these topics: Public cloud, Microsoft O365, Azure Stack, AD, AAD, SCCM, SDx, Core Network, Next gen. Firewall, Identity, Security, IaaS, PaaS & SaaS. You might also have some knowledge about unified communication, mobility and MDM, and software handling.
You are most likely today in a job as an Architect or Consultant and thus have a good understanding on architect work in IT.
Feeling at home in a project-oriented environment, your strong point is a great interest in identifying opportunities that create visible business value. You drive innovation and it is natural for you to seek new ways. You have skills and experience to push solutions further and design solutions to support new business demands.
As a person, you are a team player with a great drive and a ‘can do’ attitude. You are a creative ‘out of the box’ thinker with a natural interest for ensuring progress. You are structured and service minded, and are used to working with standards and procedures. You take ownership and pride in managing your own responsibilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are ‘a must’ as you will engage with stakeholders throughout our global organisation, and therefore it is a prerequisite to be fluent in Danish and in English in both verbal and written form.
