Functional Programmer for Public Safety Communication Platform
Based in our Glostrup office you will join a team of highly skilled software engineers proactively collaborating with colleagues in Europe and the US. You will join a Scrum team to design, implement, test and integrate SW according to customer requirements in cooperation with Product Management and System Architects.
As a Functional Programmer for Public Safety Communication Platform you have a strong desire to develop market leading products to the most demanding users worldwide. You have a recent university degree in software engineering or computer science and most likely a few years’ experience, preferably with functional programming. Not at least - you have the capability and energy to challenge our existing ways of working.
We are looking for a mix of the following characteristics:
- Experience with a functional programming language (e.g. Erlang, Elixir, Haskell, Lisp or ML) - or keen to learn.
- You can design a highly performant concurrent application and know the pitfalls of concurrent programming.
- You know an imperative programming language (e.g. Python, C, C++ or Java)
- Experience with DevOps technologies like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, message brokers, etc.
- Strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time.
