We're looking for an intern that eventually can become a full-time employee
We provide a B2C and B2B marketplace platform (SaaS) in the automobile industry, focusing on hybrid- and electric cars. You don't have to be knowledgeable in the auto industry but good at the tech part, an avid learner and curious for answers and solutions. You will be working closely and supporting our current full-stack developer. We expect you to bring technical knowledge and experience to the team. The current full-stack developer will not have bandwidth to teach you so you will have to some extent be independent.

We want you to help us produce a scalable software platform (hosted on Azure) and be part of a team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. We expect you to be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a knack for visual design and utility, somewhat having business acumen is a plus but not a must for the time being. We also expect you to be comfortable when there is no map or path to walk on and you're the one, with the guidance of the team, who has to lay it out. Don't panic, we are sure you will do fine.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilites will be following:

Work with the team to ideate software solutions
Avoid tech debt.
Support the full-stack developer who manages the platform development
Further develop client-side and server-side architecture
Further develop the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Strengthen and manage a well-functioning database and application
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with algorithms, data management, Machine Learning and AI

Expectations
Your expectations are following:

Familiarity with common stacks
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Great attention to detail
An analytical mind
Good problem solving skills
Creative, curious, visionary is a plus
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
