Your challenges
We are looking for an ambitious, creative, experienced and skilled project manager, who can drive front-end innovation projects in cross-functional teams.
Your overall focus will be to plan and carry out front-end projects, to design future concepts and to facilitate idea generation and concept development. You will also participate in other front-end activities.
You will be part of a dedicated innovation team responsible for creating ideas for future products and services and mature them to transfer into our project portfolio. We anchor our product ideas in e.g. user insights, commercial opportunities and technology combined with ideation and prototyping.
Apart from managing the front end projects, we also support projects with user insights, design conceptualization and ensure providing of physical conceptual solutions.
The position comes with responsibilities to:
- Manage and ensure timely delivery of front-end innovation projects
- Build, lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Ensure that the innovation height meets the agreed ambition
- Manage timeline, budget and resource plans
- Present front-end innovation projects for management
- Ensure smooth hand over of the projects to execution and implementation
- As you will be working in a global company, you must have the willingness and the ability to travel approx 10 days per year.
Your qualifications
We expect you to have a master degree in engineering, design, business or a comparable education including a project management education. In addition, you have 5+ years of experience within project management in front-end innovation and product development where you have obtained profound business understanding and knowledge within the entire product lifecycle value chain.
It is important that you thrive on working in an innovative environment where answers are not always given up front. Asking the right questions and finding answers are therefore a vital part of your job and success.
You naturally take a leadership role during projects, user research, idea generation, concept development and prototyping ensuring relevancy, and you have documented leadership experience leading teams with technical specialists and highly skilled employees.
To support you in the role, competencies such as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important including the ability to guide and coach others in the right direction.
On a personal level, you thrive on working in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic environment, you see yourself as result and progress oriented with a ‘can do attitude’. You have a structured, analytical and detail oriented approach to every task you face while prioritising your efforts optimally always with a focus on how to create value for our customers and the business.
The position requires that you communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
