The Open Position
Comcores is looking for a motivated and skilled engineer that can develop cutting edge Ethernet IP blocks and solutions.  

Position Content
You will be a key person developing Ethernet solutions for a world-wide customer base and will use the latest and greatest methods and tools to do this. You will participate in the product definition with product management and will be generating RTL, creating corresponding test plans and documentation. You will be applying your skills to verify complex designs until all required verification activities at IP, sub-system, and system/architecture levels are met, ensuring a first class experience for our customers.
You will be working closely in project groups to realize the designs and will take part of an environment where learning and improving skills is a strong incentive. When the designs are productized, you will at engineering level collaborate closely with customers to assure seamless integration in their projects.

Main Tasks
You will have a particular focus on Ethernet related product developments.

The responsibilities will be within the following areas:

  • Development of products and product features for Ethernet components and solutions
  • Participation in feature definition and establishment of design specifications for new products
  • Implementation of new interface standards and features in VHDL 
  • Establishment of user manual for design
  • Verification activities at IP, sub-system, and system/architecture levels
  • Integration support for the product

Your Background
You have prior experience with VHDL/Verilog design and holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s engineering degree. 
Ideally you work with Ethernet technologies today and have a solid insight into Ethernet standards such as IEEE 802.3 and IEEE802.1Q.
Likewise you are familiar with packet based networks, their function, use cases, capabilities and various protocols utilized at L2/L3 and are ready for new exiting opportunities.
Personally, you are focused, systematic and solution oriented person that manage to transform your skills into action. You feel motivated by being the best within your field and like to work with the newest technologies.
