Siemens Gamesa has a vision for renewable energy: we believe in the power of nature and technology. Help us to be ready to face the energy challenges of tomorrow and make a green footprint – join the team in creating a better future for us on our planet.

We focus on hiring the best people, wherever they may be in the world. We pride ourselves on the flexibility we offer to our employees and are committed to building a workforce that can grow with the company. Siemens Gamesa is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

In our culture of trust, we focus on empowerment, diversity and continuous learning. Valuing our people is what makes us one global team, with our colleagues’ safety at the heart of our organization.

For our Fleet Diagnostic team in Service’s Diagnostic Center we are currently looking for a Wind turbine Fleet Analyst who can assist us in analyzing and optimizing our fleet of wind turbines.

The Fleet Diagnostic team, like the rest of Diagnostic Intelligence, is working remotely on fixing issues on our wind turbines, thereby securing a minimized downtime for our customers. This is done from our Remote Control centers in Brande and Pamplona in close collaboration with the rest of the Service organization, R&D and the regional offices.

How to contribute to our vision
Alongside our other analysts, you will be in charge of in-depth analysis to troubleshoot and optimize the performance of a platform and support on Root Cause Analysis. Most of these diagnostics are done remotely from our office, however in some situations on-site visits are required in order to conduct the investigation together with the technicians and other experts.

You will report your findings to a broad array of experts, contribute to solutions to on-site turbine issues and can expect to assist with calculations and developing new algorithms to improve performance.

What you need to make a difference
You have a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. Furthermore you have a mechanical and/or an electrical education and hands-on experience with machinery. Experience with wind turbines would be considered an advantage.

You enjoy working with large quantities of data, have proven experience in troubleshooting, a desire to utilize the extensive knowledge for in-depth analysis of our fleet and are not intimidated by long and complex investigation. It will be an advantage if you have experience in extracting insights with tools such as SQL and Matlab.

To succeed in this position, you need to be persistent, analytic and detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to investigate failures - you leave no stones unturned and never give up before having reached a conclusion.

In return of your commitment we offer you…
Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come. We are a global team of diverse colleagues who share a passion for renewable energy and have a culture of trust and empowerment to make our own ideas a reality. We focus on personal and professional development to grow internally within our organization. Siemens Gamesa offers a wide variety of benefits such as flexible working hours as well as home-office possibility for many colleagues, employer-funded pension, attractive remuneration package (fixed/variable) and local benefits such as subsidized lunch, employee discounts and much more
