We develop and market advanced Audio communication & Hearing protection systems to the ARMY, Military Special Forces, Police and Rescue units worldwide.

Job description
In this job as a Firmware Design Engineer, you will play an important role in developing firmware for INVISIO’s new and existing audio products.
You will participate in cross functional project groups and be involved in all facets of product development such as specification, design, coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
You can expect a high degree of influence on your daily work, together with responsibility for driving and executing your tasks.

Skills and Competences
To succeed in this job, you hold an Engineering degree in Embedded Software design or equivalent. You must have an interest in working with all stages of product development and have a practical approach to your design while keeping the end user scenario in mind.

Technical experience:

• Experience in embeddedmicro controller firmware design
• Used to working with uControllers from different manufactures
• Extensive experience in C-programming
• Knowledge of Assembler
• Experience with real-time operating systems
• Participation in development of low power battery operated devices
• Experience with audio products and interfaces to DSP systems
• Useful to have knowledge andexperience with development of BlueTooth or other radio systems
• Familiar with version control systems like Git
• Experience with agile development methods like SCRUM

Personal:

• Have excellent skills in oral and written English
• Understand Scandinavian languages
• Familiar with MS office suite.

• You are independent and self driven and take on the planning and coordination of your work, driving it from start to finish
• You have an analytic and structured approach and focus on how to get things to work in real life environment
• You are enthusiastic with a high degree of personal initiative and like to work in a highly dynamic and international environment.
