FEA Simulation Engineer for Mechanical Development

We are looking for a skilled structural analysis simulation engineer with a “can do” attitude to join a new team supporting FOSS Product Innovation, within our R&D department based in Hillerød,

About the job
As a finite element analysis simulation engineer, you play a central role in the development process and you will get unique opportunities to work with many different and challenging technologies. As a part of a simulation team, you are expected to work closely together with both local colleagues and colleagues in Hungary.
This position will report to local management in Hillerød, Denmark. The job will involve working on one or more projects to support design decisions with simulations. Starting with the project definition and solution strategy, followed by execution and presentation of results. You will closely follow a number of projects and represent the simulation team when needed to ensure that the simulation results are utilized in the best possible way.
About you
You must share our passion for mechanical and technology development at a very high and challenging level. You are committed to deliver quality simulations and communicate the findings. Besides being one of the best in the field of mechanical simulations, you are also self-motivated. You are a natural team player and people like working with you because you have a positive mindset even when you are challenged and deadlines are tight.
Our ideal candidate holds a degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant field, and has experience with mechanical hardware development. You have a theoretical background in structural mechanics and/or physics, and ideally come with experience within some of the following fields: Various types of stress/strain analysis, Vibration analysis, Knowledge about materials, FEA SW at a high level, CAD e.g. Autodesk Inventor.
You have a structured and process-oriented work approach, and very good communication skills. English language at a high level is required, as our corporate language is English.
