Are you a skilled software tester with C# programming competencies? Would you like to work with some of the more complex issues in embedded software? Then join us at GN Resound. We are looking for a Senior QA Developer to work on software verification in state-of-the-art hearing devices.

At GN Hearing we believe that hearing-aid users will be able to HEAR MORE, DO MORE and BE MORE than they ever thought possible. We develop innovative hearing solutions with great sound quality and excellent design. Our SMART hearing-aid solutions are the most rewarded in the industry and has received more than 60 awards the last few years. Among our latest innovations are ReSound LiNX3D™ and Beltone Trust™, the world’s first full family of hearing aids, with remote fine-tuning capabilities.

As our new Senior QA Developer, you will be part of our Firmware Verification Team in the R&D department. We are eight skilled colleagues, who primarily specify and verify integrated product deliveries to ensure correct software functionality in new devices and product features.

Be a key test engineer in GN ReSound
Your role will consist of testing embedded software in hearing devices and wireless accessories as well as C# programming related to test automation. In regards to testing, you verify functionality of software, ensuring it meets internal requirements and follows standards and regulations. You will be in charge of the entire testing process from specifying, planning and executing tests to analysing and reporting your findings.

In general, you will function as a test expert and as such your other focus area will be implementation of test automation. Thus, your programming skills will come in handy, as you will e.g. be creating intelligent test solutions and environments as well as new tools and areas for firmware tests.

You see software testing as a challenging intellectual process
It is essential that you have a strong track record within testing. If you have the necessary passion and skills, your educational background is less important. You speak and write English at an excellent level.

As a tester, you love scrutinising every little detail to find errors and issues. You are just as curious when it comes to learning more about wireless protocols, HW/SW integration, sound processing algorithms, configuration of operating systems and similar technical knowledge. However, you also need to both be minded for and have skills in programming, not necessarily C#, but at least a similar language. Further, you like to practice an open and proactive style of communication, as you will need to reach out to other team colleagues, developers and project managers. With your great cooperation skills you also know how to raise criticism in a constructive manner. Finally, you take a systematic approach to your work and have an extraordinary great sense of details.
