Your challenges
The VELUX Group have direct online sales experience for our roof window blinds category. We operate 29 online brand stores and 14 discounts web shops for blinds today. Over the next few years we will launch web shops selling roof windows, both brand stores and discounts shops.

We are looking for a very analytical, self-motivated, energetic person with in-depth ecommerce analytics experience to join us as a key member to this fast paced and growing business unit.

Your role is to analyse data and the performance of our entire e-commerce business, to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for the team and be part of the execution. Your objective is to support the overall e-commerce business in increasing website traffic, conversion rates, average basket spend and consumer retention.

While help driving the organisation towards an evidence based and user driven approach for all digital deliveries your primary tasks will be to:

  • Create procedures on data management which involves data analysis, web projects and data integrity
  • Help define the overall data warehouse architecture and design, with the objective to create a single customer view and implement marketing automation and campaigns
  • Constantly manage and optimise the customer journeys
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate performance of the e-commerce activities and website statistics and provide regular reports and other ad-hoc reports
  • Optimisation of parts of the online business through detailed analysis, understand 'what' happened and 'why'
  • Collect and use data of existing campaigns to inform new campaigns
  • Liaise and work within different e-commerce stakeholders to ensure knowledge is shared and duplication of work is minimalised

Another part of your job will be to monitor e-commerce industry best practices, to define and implement web analytics standards and processes and to analyse pricing of competitors in all markets to be able to make pricing recommendations.

Your qualifications
You have 5+ years of web analysis experience using Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, WebTrends etc. including technical knowledge to produce insightful analysis of data with conclusions and recommendations for business improvements. In addition, you are comfortable with managing tasks from various work streams and you know how to prioritise appropriately.

If you also have experience with data visualization applications, A/B & Multivariate testing of similar tools and good SQL knowledge, our smiles will be even bigger.

You are result-oriented and persistent in relation to achieving company goals and you thrive working in a deadline driven environment. You are highly organised and efficient with meticulous attention to details.

On a personal level, you are self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a commercial and analytical approach to understanding consumer behavior. With your good sense of humour and a positive mindset, you add quality to team efforts.

As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our organisation, excellent communication skills are imperative for this position and fluency in English is a prerequisite.
