Are you committed to driving success, and a true believer in servant leadership? And do you know the difference between “designing IT right and designing the right IT” and want to help ensure that we become the next Design Thinking leader?

Join us and become Manager of the User Experience team in our newly formed Agile Delivery division where you’ll be responsible for leading a team consisting of 11 highly gifted and skilled UX consultants, while building bridges to the teams around you.

Your closest colleagues in Agile Delivery cover all the disciplines and key players in making the projects and the agile delivery vehicles perform.

Your key tasks will be to

  • function as servant leader to the highly motivated team of UX consultants by building a strong team, while at the same time securing personal development for all individual team members
  • demonstrate strong empathic leadership skills daily - setting the overall direction for the UX team, while empowering the UX consultants with the freedom to excel individually and shine as a team
  • motivate and excite the team of UX consultants to perform to its very best
  • drive the Design Thinking initiative as defined in the Group’s Digital Strategy
  • further develop our user experience expertise and toolkits used in development initiatives with and without IT development.

Furthermore, you’ll build solid relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that the UX and Design Thinking disciplines are understood and used throughout the Group. You’ll play an active part in building a new management team, not only with your immediate colleagues from the Processes, Organisational Change and Test Management teams, but also with the managers from the rest of Agile Delivery.

Your competences include that you

  • have substantial leadership experience and solid experience with UX implementation and execution in large organisations
  • are well-versed in Design Thinking and have implemented Design Thinking frameworks and methodologies in organisations like ours
  • possess an exceptional drive for succeeding with your team
  • have an unusual ability to communicate, are familiar with different media and can document strong storytelling skills
  • build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, speak and write English fluently and thrive in an international environment.

Moreover, you’re experienced in stage gate as well as agile software development methodologies, and having experience with SAFe is a plus, but not a must. In addition to being a natural servant leader who can generate a following for the concepts or initiatives you and your team design, you also have an ability to build unexpected liaisons as a trusted partner.
