Job Description

Enhancing and simplifying products/components for variable speed drives
The department is responsible for designing cabinets of steel/aluminium, cooling parts, wiring and plugs, fans, accessories and spare parts for the whole range of variable speed drives from 0.25 kW to 90kW, produced in Denmark as well as a range in China, the USA and India. We also lead or attend in projects with our major OEMs, developing new products based on our standard range. With your experience as a development engineer, you will be responsible for technical aspects such as moulded aluminium parts, metal mounted parts or injection-moulded plastic parts etc.

You will be dealing with a large number of complex products and technologies, and more specifically, you must: 

• Coordinate your own projects in relation to both internal and external resources
• Design mechanical solutions in the CAD system “CREO” and create documentation with assistance from colleagues.
• Be a driver in realising good ideas for cost down or quality improvements
• Take ownership from design change to final implementation in the production
• Be an important player in designing products adaptation for important customers 

Your success in the job depends on your ability to shift promptly between your tasks and to keep a cool head in stressful situations with demands from many stakeholders. You need to maintain a good balance between a practical and a theoretical approach to design solutions. Meeting those expectations, you will be given the opportunity to influence heavily on your responsibilities in compliance to your interests and experience, and you will develop both personally and professionally accordingly to this.
 
Engineer in the field of mechanics or mechatronics, eager to make a difference
You have some year’s relevant experience, preferable also project leader experience. Most important, though, is your positive, open and dynamic approach to your colleagues, stakeholders and tasks. You get your energy from working relations with people both cross-functional and cross-cultural, in an environment where you need to change rapidly between acute problem-solving and deep analysing. You have good Danish and English skills and communicate effortless with people at all levels.
