For our Equipment Product- and Project management team, we are looking for a strong Equipment Platform manager to join us in managing the project portfolio across our wind turbine platforms. The scope of the task is to ensure effective delivery of the right solutions in the right quality, motivate and give direction for the project teams and perform overall scope management within the wind turbine platform view.

How to contribute to our vision
Our product line is growing and so is the Equipment department. As our Equipment Platform Manager in the Offshore Engineering Equipment Project Management department you will Owning the equipment scope of a full wind turbine project portfolio from demand identification until successful delivery to the operational business. Furthermore, you will be working across the value chain with the focus to deliver equipment scope for a wind turbine platform at cost, budget and the right time for sourcing.

As an Equipment Platform Manager, you will also:

  • Take the lead on alignment around equipment stakeholders for a Turbine platform
  • Execute and optimize the platform equipment portfolio to meet the defined requirements
  • Drive platform projects towards cost and budget targets together with technical project managers
  • In relation to development of new wind turbine types, identify and manage new equipment scope in collaboration with our Offshore Technology team
  • Give direction to a network of technical specialists in order to realize customer specific components, systems or solutions
  • Perform technical risk management and be responsible for the continuous evaluation of risk and opportunities across the platform project portfolio

A candidate with several years of professional experience in technical project management / project portfolio management. You hold an Engineering degree on Bachelor or master’s level or similar relevant technical education in combination with a minimum of 5 years’ experience running engineering development projects (from requirement specification to executing on bill of materials including FAT and SAT). You are experienced in driving projects from concept to industrialization phase, and your commercial understanding is excellent and so is your ability to transfer this to project execution.

As a person you are a dedicated team player who contribute to a positive and dynamic environment within the team. Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively on different organizational levels and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
