Do you have a passion for commissioning and good communication skills? Then you might be a great fit for our open position as commission Manager.

Banedanmark is conducting Denmark's biggest railway program; the replacement of all legacy signaling with a brand-new digital signal technology. The Signaling Program is a complex and technically exciting program with contributions, from specialists, from over 20 different countries.

As our new Commissioning Manager, you will be working in the Project Delivery Team, in the Fjernbane Signalling Project. Your main tasks are to ensure the commissioning and a seamless transition from the project development and deployment phase, to operation and maintenance. A part of the role is also to extend the commissioning knowledge and methods to other areas of Banedanmark.

Ensuring the commissioning agenda
As our new colleague, you will contribute to advocating an overall commissioning perspective. This includes maintaining a commissioning strategy and plan as well as forming and chairing the Commissioning Board.

You will play a crucial part in defining the tasks required to ensure commissioning of a workable solution. It will be your responsibility to scope, plan and report on operational practice to create readiness and input to a Support Plan and Operational Readiness Report – including assistance to the Signaling Program’s Management, where you will support them in strategic decisions within operational and maintenance readiness by proposing the right strategy when it comes to operational and maintenance readiness.

Handover to Operation´s Department
You will also ensure that the system is properly transitioned from the project to the operation and maintenance department. This includes processes but also closure of all as-built documentation and open points coming from the supplier. Additionally, you will follow-up on contractual obligations for the supplier and Banedanmark

Creating an overview of demands and solution requirements
You might have a graduate level education in a technical field, or you could have a more administrative educational background with a specialized knowledge within project management or commissioning. Most importantly you have solid experience from roles in project management, project delivery, commissioning or similar.

Through your background you have shown that you have a methodical and analytical approach, can create overview of demands, solution requirements, and have planned and implemented support for this.

You are expected to have an active and collaborative behavior and good communication skills as you will be working with coworkers from different organizational and professional standpoints than your own. You are flexible, skilled in prioritizing both time and tasks, and work well with many deadlines. Our main business language in this department is English.

You will be employed in relation to the current labour agreement and your salary is settled based on your experiences and qualifications.
