Do you have an in-depth understanding of design, development and engineering in the discrete manufacturing industry? Do you want to use this understanding to help companies manage and improve product development through the use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solutions?
Minerva Group is looking for a Product Specialist to support our industry-specific PLM solutions for the Medical Device and Electronic & High-Tech Industries.
Your new job at Minerva
Minerva Products are industry-specific PLM solutions tailored to the Medical Device Industry and the Electronic & High-Tech Industry. Our products run on top of the PLM solution Aras Innovator® and can handle the complex challenges of both industries.
As Product Specialist, you will become an expert in these industry-specific solutions. Together with the rest of the product team, you will ensure the continued success and development of the products. You will:
- Gather requirements and ideas from colleagues, customers and the market and transform these to functional specifications for further development of the products
- Support product management in bringing their vision to life
- Hand over functional specifications to the Product Architect who will translate these to technical specifications
- Ensure that release plans are kept and that the necessary documentation is in place including release notes, test reports and training material
- Ensure that colleagues and customers receive an introduction to new releases
- Stay updated on current Minerva Product customers, so you know how they use the products today and what they want from them in the future
You may also be involved in the sales and implementation of the products, which will allow you to gain an even deeper understanding of the products. You will be based in Aarhus, Denmark, and support Minerva Products around the world. Travelling up to 20% must therefore be expected.
You have an outstanding understanding of business processes, which you have gained from your extensive experience with design, development and engineering in the discrete manufacturing industry, preferably the Medical Device Industry and/or the Electronic & High-Tech Industry.
Your business understanding enables you to translate businesses’ needs to functional specifications that can be used to develop software solutions. Although experience with PLM is an advantage, you do not need to be an IT specialist, and we can teach you how to combine your business understanding with IT. You might have an educational background in engineering, but the key to your success is your understanding of business processes.
You approach your work with a high degree of structure and attention to details, and you value the importance of documentation. You focus on getting things done, and you always follow things through to the end. As you will be spending a lot of your time communicating with customers and colleagues, it is important that you have strong communication skills.
