About the department
You will get the opportunity to join a team of engineers and laboratory technicians responsible for testing the performance of new injection devices developed at Novo Nordisk. Our tasks include both design verification (to document the quality of the device) and explorative tests (to understand the behaviour).

The position
You will work closely together with a few experienced engineers, focusing on explorative tests. In the job, you will experience a variety of tasks surrounding the development and understanding of medical devices. During the internship you will be responsible for a few larger investigations as well as assist in smaller day-to-day tasks.

Depending on your interests and skills, the larger investigations combine test method development, design of fixtures, test execution in the laboratory, data analysis and reporting of results.

  • Internship period: 5-6 months
  • Working Hours: 37 hours a week
  • Start date: 01 February 2022
  • Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications
You are currently studying for your Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field. Your education likely includes courses within structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, applied mathematics and data analysis.

Preferably, you have experience within several of the following fields:

  • 3D CAD construction,
  • programming (MATLAB/python)
  • design of experiments and
  • hands-on experimental work

You have a strong personal drive and dedication and are eager to learn. You are service minded and fluent in both oral and written English. Finally, you must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
