Do you have a technical background as engineer or building constructor and flair for solving new installation principles in sheet metal and modulation of 3D topics. Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and a practical approach to your tasks? Then we have the challenges you may be looking for.

Your challenges
You will be part of a department responsible for development and documentation of a new generation of VELUX roof light products specially developed for commercial buildings. The products are based on a new platform using the newest technologies and materials within the window industry. You will be collaborating closely with a team of engineers and technicians with broadly composed competencies within development, technique, design and product specifications.

Your role will be to join a development team responsible for the window integration to roof surface constructions including new applications. This applies to new installation and assembling principles, water technical robustness as well as to realisable production solutions. It also involves compilation of data regarding building practices including understanding of the construction tolerances for construction site conditions and production.

You will develop and produce proto types, carry out development tests and validation of new products. You will also participate in ‘on site’ tests on construction sites in Denmark as well as abroad. You will be involved in several projects at a time so it is important that you are able to priorities.

You must expect to travel 20-30 days per year.

Your qualifications
You are probably an engineer or a building constructor preferably combined with a craftsman like background. You are an experienced user of 3D construction in SolidWorks or another similar 3D user surface. If you have experience with construction in sheet metal, we will definitely count it as an advantage.

On a personal level, you thrive working in a team characterised by humor and an open-minded working environment. You have an open and forthcoming manner and finding solutions in close collaboration with others truly motivates you.

Proficiency in Danish and English in speech as well as in writing is necessary.
