At GN Audio in Ballerup, we have cross-functional hardware engineering and product concepting teams. We are dedicated to developing and designing state-of-the-art Jabra headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio solutions that make life sound better. 

Join our hardware engineering team…
… and take responsibility for all hardware-related aspects of development projects around our Bluetooth, DECT and USB platforms, power management including batteries and advanced sensor technologies. As a hardware engineer, you may be involved in all stages from concept to finished product. 

Your tasks include:

• Developing new hardware design
• Carrying out early technical feasibility studies 
• Leading verifications processes, documenting and preparing for mass production
• Performing value engineering on products
• Participating in on-site support for New Product Introductions at our global production sites up to 20 days per year

Collaborate with our cross-functional concept design team 
Whilst working together with the Hardware Engineering team, you may also have a role in our Concept Design team comprised of 10 individuals from varying disciplines. Together, we work on concept exploration for headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio products, all representing exciting challenges due to size constraints and need for mobility. 

Here, you will function as a hardware lead and contribute with your specialised knowledge to push the boundaries of hardware design.

Engineer with solid knowledge of product development
With your proactive and creative mindset, you enjoy exploring and trying out new opportunities and concepts as you drive projects. You are highly self-driven and strive to follow projects all the way through from idea to production. You are furthermore collaborative and enjoy communicating with your colleagues, leaders and stakeholders in an intercultural environment, ensuring that everyone is well-informed on current and future projects. 

You bring:

• A degree in electrical engineering or similar 
• Solid knowledge of product development including concepting, design, modelling, simulation, verification, test methodologies, analysis and problem-solving of cross-functional issues
• Experience with working in a global organisation
• Fundamental understanding of RF and antenna design
• Good communication skills in English. Danish is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
