Danish Technological Institute in Aarhus is looking for a talented and dedicated colleague to join our business unit in DTI Oil & Gas. You are passionate about developing and applying high-end solutions to meet the challenges in the oil and gas industry.

Solving and communicating technical challenges
As a consultant at DTI Oil & Gas - Section for Oilfield Chemistry - you will take part in our business development, meeting new people and identifying areas where the competencies found at DTI may add value to the client’s operation. Clients are primarily E&P companies around the world, but also service providers to the oil and gas sector, universities and other knowledge based institutions.

You will take part in the project execution both in R&D projects and commercial projects within water conformance, tracers, production chemicals, sensor technologies, CFD, corrosion and handling of injection- and produced-water.
The balance between meeting new and existing clients and executing project work in the laboratory or in the office will to a large extent be determined by your own interest and capabilities, but you are expected to be involved in both.

The position involves both traveling and work on producing oil field and drilling rigs, both on- and off-shore.

Enjoy seeing your ideas and solutions make a difference
You hold a master or PhD degree within chemistry, physics, petroleum engineering or similar. Experience from the oil and gas industry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. Documented experience with acquisition of publicly funded R&D project is also an advantage.
You are fluent in English in speech and writing. If you speak Arabic, Persian, German or Norwegian it’s great. Some familiarity with Danish is required, as the official company language of DTI is Danish.

As a person, you enjoy solving and communicating technical challenges and solutions and you have a drive for making a difference and achieving new knowledge and skills. You are a team player, preferably with experience in project oriented team work. You have a good balance between structured approach and creativity.
