Engineer for automation and instrumentation

What are you going to do?
We are looking for an engineer or technician who wants to work with instrumentation for our large 2-stroke engines.
You will be:
- Specifying and selecting sensors and instruments for use on the engines
- Designing the components into the engine systems in cooperation with relevant design departments
- Assisting colleagues in designing automation solutions
- Contributing to configuration of new design specifications
Who are you?
We imagine that you:
- Are open and outgoing – and dare to ask!
- Are an engineer or technician with machine or electrical background
- Have relevant experience with 3D CAD systems
- Have knowledge of technical industrial or marine installations
How is your new team/area of business?
In “Electrical Design”, we are responsible for electrical documentation as well as specification and application of instrumentation and control systems.
Our team consists of a mix of electrical and machinery backgrounds, and we interact with our departments for mechanical design, electronics hardware and software development. Therefore, an open mind and understanding of the different areas approaches is important.
We continuously work with our processes to ensure a high quality and efficiency. We therefore continuously question why and how we work.
Mechanical solutions are designed using 3D (NX), and electrical documentation is primarily made using PC|Schematic.
