Join us as we gather the entire GN Group under one IT set-up – a journey where you will play an important role in communicating the progress from a support perspective as we take our IT set-up to the next level.

Lead an international team 

At the GN Group, we balance scientific research with expertise across advanced headsets, headphones and hearing aids. Joining IT Services in Ballerup, you will lead our ITS On-site EMEA team of IT support specialists – 4 in Denmark, 1 in Spain and 2 in the UK. Together, they carry out all on-site IT support, including walk-ins and some project participation in terms of IT set-up.

“After corona, we’re looking to really gather the troops again and get that true team feeling back. We need to share even more knowledge and document it across countries. You’ll be able to work closely with the managers of other regions in the process,” explains Head of IT Service Lars La Cour.

Hands-on technical team leader
In this role, you will be our hands-on team leader and an on-site support specialist for the EMEA region. This means that aside from heading up your team, ensuring team spirit and development, you will also act as the ‘playing coach’ who handles support from A to Z.

Specifically, you will:   

  • Act as the on-site escalation point for both users in EMEA and internal IT
  • Be responsible for stakeholder management in EMEA countries without local IT support
  • Ensure close cooperation with our outsourced service desk
  • Provide first and second-line on-site support on a variety of devices, systems and technologies
  • Create and maintain high-quality knowledge articles and provide accurate reporting

“You’ll have a team of very independent supporters, but you’ll be the rallying point who makes sure we align globally and move towards the same goal as a team,” says Lars.

Team lead experience and great on-site support skills

You are ready to apply hands-on skills in a role with a focus on constantly improving the service level, and you thrive spearheading a team and are not afraid to set the direction or challenge your team - or your manager, for that matter.

Moreover, you have the patience to ensure aligned processes, and we also imagine that you:

  • Have a few years of team lead experience, enabling you to manage on-site support professionals
  • Possess expert working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 desktop OS and O365
  • Have experience with Microsoft server operating systems and managing Microsoft Active Directory
  • Have a solid appreciation of application and OS deployment mechanisms
  • Have the ITIL 4 foundation – and it is a plus, though not a prerequisite, if you also have MS certifications
  • Are fluent in both Danish and Englis
